Occupational Therapy Neurorehabilitation Fellowship

VA Boston Healthcare System offers a 12-month Occupational Therapy Neurorehabilitation Fellowship Program* combining clinical experience, mentoring and didactics to advance the knowledge and skills of an OT practitioner.

The mission of the Occupational Therapy Neurorehabilitation program is to provide occupational therapists with advanced knowledge and skills to promote their clinical practice competency in the area of neurologic rehabilitation, to provide enhanced care for veterans and to cultivate leaders in health care.

Prerequisites:

• U.S. Citizen
• AOTA Member
• Planning to pursue Board Certification or Specialty Certification
• Graduate of an ACOTE accredited occupational therapy program
• Passed the NBCOT Board examination prior to the first day of the program. Anticipated exam dates or scheduled exam date for new graduates
• State occupational therapy licensure, from any state in the U.S.
• Not be on a probation or under a learning contract at their current facility or program

2. Resume/CV
3. One-page personal statement explaining your interest in fellowship and reasons for applying
4. Three letters of reference from individuals who can speak to your clinical skills, including a supervisor, if possible
5. Copy of Valid OT license and NBCOT certificate OR transcripts showing an expected graduation date prior to the start of the fellowship and your scheduled NBCOT test date
