General Surgery Residency - Preliminary Position

We are excited to share that we have an open Preliminary PGY 1 Position in HCA Florida, JFK Hospital, with a start date of July 1, 2023 due to recent approval to maintain this position.

We are an established program where trainees will develop skills in all six of the general competencies as outlined by the ACGME. Each resident must demonstrate basic competency in these areas.

Prerequisites:

Must have graduated from an Accredited Medical School or International Medical Graduates with valid ECFMG certificate (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates)

• USMLE 1 and 2 scores: Minimum of 220
• Medical School Diploma
