General Surgery Residency - Categorical Position

The General Surgery Residency Training Program at Lankenau Medical Center just outside of Philadelphia prides itself as being a “hybrid” program for General Surgery Training, which includes the best aspects of a superb “community” hospital—Lankenau is ranked in the top one percent of hospitals in the nation—and the best characteristics of an “academic” center—skilled, rigorous, evidence-based clinical teaching by the busiest and best clinicians.

We currently have one (1) opening for a category general surgery position at the PGY 3 level starting July 1, 2023.

Prerequisites:

The applicant must have completed 2 years of surgical clinical training in an ACGME accredited general surgery residency training program and must be in good standing.

• ABSITE Score Reports
• Three Letters of Recommendation - must be from experience in the last 12 months and include current program director
• Most Recent ACGME Milestone Report
• ACGME case log defined category report
• List of completed and planned rotations
• Copies of current BLS, ACLS, ATLS certification
• International graduates should provide a copy of ECFMG certification and visa status if applicable
