Anesthesiology Residency

The University of Connecticut Residency in Anesthesia has three positions open in both the CA-2 and CA-3 years beginning July 1, 2023 after having been granted a complement increase by the ACGME.

Prerequisites:

• Applicants must be current residents in good standing in an ACGME accredited residency in anesthesia.
• Applicants to all positions must have passed USMLE steps 1, 2 and 3 and taken the ABA BASIC examination.
• Applicants for the CA-3 positions must have passed the ABA BASIC examination.

How To Apply:

All applications must include:

• Three current letters of recommendation (although not mandatory, it is preferable that at least one of these be from the preceptor of an anesthesiology rotation)
• Official medical school transcript
• Medical Student Performance Evaluation (formerly the Dean’s Letter)
• USMLE score for step I (and step II if available)
• COMLEX score for step I (and step II if available)
