Regional Anesthesiology & Acute Pain Medicine Fellowship

NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine Fellowship is a one-year program that trains physicians to safely and efficiently employ regional anesthesiology techniques. The program is offered through the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Care, and Pain Medicine.

Under the guidance of Arthur C. Hertling, MD, MBA. Opens in a new tab, fellowship director, and Uchenna O. Umeh, MD. Opens in a new tab, fellowship assistant director, our goal is to produce outstanding clinicians with superior technical skills, an up-to-date knowledge of the specialty, and the ability to become teachers and leaders in the field. The fellowship is based at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital. Opens in a new tab. Our experts handle all types of adult and pediatric cases, allowing for a well-rounded training experience.

Prerequisites:

Candidates are expected to have completed an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency and to be board-certified or board-eligible.
