Fetal Surgery Fellowship

As a fellow at the Cincinnati Children's Fetal Care Center you will participate in a training program that will provide the highest level of fetal care and surgery at one of the most comprehensive fetal treatment centers in the world. Our experienced team includes five maternal-fetal medicine specialists and two fetal / pediatric surgeons, as well as specialists at Cincinnati Children’s representing every pediatric subspecialty.

The goal of the fellowship is to gain expertise in fetal diagnosis, therapy and surgery in anticipation of a subspecialization in this area. As a fellow you will be involved in the interdisciplinary, multimodal evaluation and treatment of pregnancies complicated by complex fetal abnormalities.

Prerequisites:

Fellowship candidates may be from backgrounds in general surgery or pediatric surgery.

• Candidates with a background in surgery must have completed at least five years of residency in general surgery or be eligible for application to a pediatric surgical training program, or have completed a pediatric surgery fellowship.
