Inflammatory Bowel Disease Fellowship

This non-ACGME-accredited advanced fellowship in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) under the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition offers unique training in a high-volume, top-rated tertiary referral center. It provides clinical, endoscopic and research training specific to the inflammatory bowel disease process, as well as the opportunity to work on cutting-edge clinical trials.

Fellows will receive broad exposure in the IBD field, from basic IBD management to complex and difficult to manage care. Fellows will have direct contact with a large group of full-time faculty who will provide mentorship and guidance throughout the program.

Prerequisites:

  • MD or DO
  • US citizenship, permanent resident or J1 Visa status
  • Completion of three years of U.S. postgraduate residency training in an ACGME-accredited program
  • Completion of three years of a gastroenterology fellowship in an ACGME-accredited program by the time of entry into the fellowship program
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Ohio (may be pending at time of application, but required before starting the fellowship)
