Case Western Reserve University (The MetroHealth System) Pediatric Residency Program is seeking a categorical pediatric resident for a PGY 3 position starting on July 1, 2020.
The residency is aimed at preparing strong pediatricians, ready for the community or for sub-specialty training. We offer a stellar clinical learning environment in an institution which takes great pride in the excellence in its training and educational programs. We serve a diverse population and have highly committed teaching faculty dedicated to the success of our trainees. After residency our graduates are placed among the most competitive fellowship programs and academic or general pediatric positions.
Our residency program includes daily teaching conferences in primary care pediatrics, subspecialty pediatrics, practice management, quality improvement, and clinical simulation workshops. The goal of the program is to broaden residents’ knowledge in well child care, acute illnesses, chronic illness management, issues surrounding behavior and development and practicing pediatrics in today's medical environment. We are a resident-driven program, continually striving to improve.
