General Surgery Residency

The General Surgery Residency Program at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Southern California has opening for: PGY-3 CATEGORICAL SURGERY RESIDENT beginning July 1, 2021 due to resident out for research. Applications will be accepted by EMAIL ONLY during the time frame of January 21 – January 28, 2021. CRITERIA FOR QUALIFICATION AS LISTED BELOW MUST BE MET FOR CONSIDERATION: *** DUE TO THE NEW CALIFORNIA MEDICAL BOARD LICENSING RULES, residents must have either: a) 24 months (no more) completed by June 2021 in the same program OR b) if more training than 24 months is done, only those fully licensed in another state may be considered. (We cannot consider those with 36 months of training that are not fully licensed already) We do not sponsor H1B visas.

Prerequisites:

Applicants must have completed appropriate time in a General Surgery Residency in an ACGME-accredited training program ONLY by June 30, 2021 and must be either a current or former resident in good standing.

4. Three current letters of recommendation, one of which must be from current Program Director
5. Medical School transcript, diploma, and Dean's letter
