General Surgery Residency-Categorical Position

The General Surgery Residency Training Program at Tufts Medical Center currently has one (1) opening for a categorical position at the PGY 3 level starting July 1, 2023.

Prerequisites:

The applicant must have completed 2 years of surgical clinical training in an ACGME accredited general surgery residency training program and must be in good standing.

• Must have passed USMLE STEP 3.
• Medical School Transcript and MSPE (Medical School Performance Evaluation)
• USMLE Score Reports
• ABSITE Score Reports
• Three Letters of Recommendation - must be from experience in the last 12 months and include letter from current program director
• Most Recent ACGME Milestone Report
• ACGME case log defined category report
• List of completed and planned rotations
• Copies of current BLS, ACLS, ATLS certification
• International graduates should provide a copy of ECFMG certification and visa status if applicable
• For International Applicants: J-1 Visa offered only, Permanent Resident or Green Card Holder, Work authorization
