Selective (Surgical) Pathology Fellowship

Selective (Surgical) Pathology Fellowship

An accredited training program at Los Angeles County + University of Southern California (LAC+USC) Medical Center since 2007, the surgical pathology fellowship has long been a vital part of the anatomic pathology training system. At LAC+USC, fellows perform junior attending duties including frozen section diagnosis, intra-operative consultations and diagnostic sign-out with the residents. Extensive autonomy is encouraged with strong faculty support.

LAC+USC is affiliated with the Keck Medical Center of USC, which is mainly composed of Keck Hospital and Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, where fellows also perform frozen sections, intra-operative consultations, gross examination and final pathologic diagnosis of surgical cases.
