The Rutgers New Jersey Medical School General Surgery Residency Program in Newark, New Jersey is seeking to fill a Preliminary PGY-2 residency position starting July 1, 2023. Orientation starts late June 2023.

Prerequisites:

To be eligible for this Preliminary PGY-2 position, the applicant must currently be a PGY-1 resident, in good standing, or have satisfactorily completed a PGY-1 year of training, in an ACGME accredited program.

Citizenship/Visa Requirements: Current US citizenship, Green Card or J-1 Visa status only.

• ABSITE score reports from all years of training
• ACGME defined Category Case Log Report
• List of completed rotations
