Breast Imaging Fellowship

Breast Imaging Fellowship

Our goal is to train our fellows to provide patient care through safe, efficient, appropriately utilized, quality-controlled radiology techniques. We provide fellows with an organized, comprehensive, supervised, full-time educational experience in Breast Imaging including breast ultrasounds, breast MRI, and mammography at the renowed Mount Sinai Dubin Breast Center. We emphasize digital breast tomosynthesis and use 1.5 and 3.0T magnets for breast MRIs. Fellows become proficient with wire and radioactive seed localizations, stereotactic biopsy, ultrasound procedures, and MRI procedures.

As a fellow, you will interact with patients and participate in multidisciplinary breast conference and both resident and medical student education.

Our program is not accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and we offer two fellowship positions each year.
