These one- and two-year stroke research fellowships are for new investigators who wish to pursue active research careers in acute ischemic stroke, stroke genetics, intracerebral hemorrhage, stroke biomarkers and related topics.
The Stroke Division of the Department of Neurology at the Massachusetts General Hospital offers one- and two- year stroke research fellowships to interested candidates with MD and or PhD training and a strong background in biomedical science. The Mass General Stroke Faculty is comprised of world-renowned vascular neurologists, neurointensivists, neurointerventionalists, neurosurgeons and emergency physicians who provide expert mentorship and training to new investigators who wish to pursue active research careers in acute ischemic stroke, stroke genetics, intracerebral hemorrhage, stroke biomarkers, cerebral amyloid angiopathy, emergency medicine, neuroimaging, neuroradiology, neurosurgery, neurocritical care and stroke outcomes.
Applicants must have MD and/or PhD training and a background in biomedical research is preferred. Salary is commensurate with the candidate's PGY level.
