Postdoctoral Research Fellowship

Our laboratory studies gastrointestinal mechanisms of bariatric surgery specifically related to cardiovascular disease improvement in animal models and human subjects. We are looking for a research fellow who can commit to two years in the lab. The fellow would be assigned a primary project, specifically involving sleeve gastrectomy in mice, and be responsible for the surgery model and associated procedures, sample collection and analysis and all associated publications. The fellow should be interested in being an active member of our small lab team and assist in other relevant responsibilities in the laboratory to assist in successful project progression. A two year commitment is required.

Prerequisites:

Position open to surgical residents, or MD or PhD equivalents.
