Neurocritical Care and Cerebrovascular Fellowship

Neurocritical Care and Cerebrovascular Fellowship

The combined Neurocritical Care and Cerebrovascular Fellowship provides a one-year clinical educational offering to child neurology trainees interested in pursuing advanced training in the recognition of acute neurologic injury and brain-directed critical care.

Cincinnati Children's has developed a Trauma-Bay-to-Classroom model of neurocritical care, recognizing that the ultimate objective after hospitalization is return to normal, healthy function. Every step of our care model is centered on the objective of improving the outcome for our patients. The considerable resources of a top-ranked children’s hospital are employed to deliver world-class care to our kids.

Prerequisites:

To participate in this fellowship, you must complete 3 years of child neurology residency in an ACGME accredited program. Alternate training pathways will be considered on a case-by-case basis and reviewed prior to acceptance.

The selection of candidates for the fellowship will be determined by the program co-directors and the division director with input from participating faculty.
