STAR Center Simulation Fellowship

STAR Center Simulation Fellowship

The STAR Center Fellowship in medical simulation at ISMMS is a unique two-year experience. Through a combination of simulation education, medical education, and emergency medicine education focused programs, we have created a unique opportunity for our simulation fellows to learn with, from, and about all aspects of education.

The STAR Center Simulation Fellowship focuses on preparing the next generation of physician educators. A focus will be on the principles of adult-learning theory, simulation curriculum design and development, implementation of simulation-based programs (including debriefing), and learner assessment. Simulation fellows will have the opportunity to publish their work in peer-reviewed journals and present at local and national conferences.

Fellows in the program will also become knowledgeable in simulation-based technologies, AV system technology, and will participate in the daily operations of the STAR Center.
