Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship

The Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix strives to create an exceptional and well-trained workforce to serve the aging population in Arizona, as well as the rest of the country.

The focus of the program is multifaceted, providing a strong foundation in clinical care, research and community practice in a myriad of care settings. Our mission aligns with the overall mission of the college — to optimize health and health care in Arizona and beyond.

The primary aim of the program is to provide unique and excellent clinical opportunities for the trainees to learn about geriatric psychiatry in diverse learning environments. The goal of the program is to emphasize an interdisciplinary clinical practice under supervision by specialists.

Prerequisites:

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited adult psychiatry residency.
    • For non-US medical graduates, a Valid ECFMG certificate.

How To Apply:

Application include:

  • Two (2) letters of reference.
  • Letter of recommendation from the residency training director.
    • This should include a list of rotations completed during the residency.
  • Personal statement.
  • CV/resume.
