Postdoctoral Research Fellowship

The Department of Anesthesiology at Columbia University Medical Center, College of Physicians and Surgeons seeks a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to investigate the signaling mechanisms of acute kidney injury.

Experiments involve genetically modified mice and cell culture models using pharmacologic pathway inhibitors of signal transduction. Columbia University is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer --Race/Gender/Disability/Veteran

Prerequisites:

Prospective applicants must be a recipient of a MD or a PhD (or equivalent) and should also have experience in cell culture, immunohistochemistry, RT-PCR and immunoblotting techniques. Proficiency in mouse survival surgery and anesthesia is preferred.
