This is a one-year position beginning July 15, 2023 working on multiple research projects and manuscripts with the Division of HPB Surgery at Atrium Health-Carolinas Medical Center.
The fellow will work with HPB databases, data entry from patient records, and data analysis for retrospective and ongoing clinical studies. If the candidate can qualify for a full North Carolina medical license, moonlighting with the general surgery service is an opportunity. Salary will be commensurate to level of training.
The ideal candidate would be newly graduated from a general surgery residency program without a fellowship position to transition to immediately following.
Knowledge of and interest in HPB Surgery is preferred. History of research experience and academic productivity is also preferred.
