Burn Surgery Fellowship

The Nassau County Firefighters Burn Center at Nassau University Medical Center: 12-month fellowship in burn surgery and complex wound healing management beginning 7/1/2022 at a level 1 trauma center.

This is an ideal experience with a large diverse plastic surgical group and a Burn Center serving a catchment area of 3 million people in the suburban New York City area. This fellowship will provide experience in acute burn and critical care patient management as well as advanced burn reconstruction, complex wound care, and hyperbaric medicine. The Burn Fellow interacts with a residency training program in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Prerequisites:

A minimum of two to three years of general surgical residency with critical care experience and a New York State medical license are prerequisites for the position.
