Emergency Radiology Fellowship

The mission of the Emergency Radiology Fellowship program is to provide outstanding educational opportunities to trainees through innovative teaching, clinical training, and exposure to research and quality initiatives to develop excellent radiologists for either independent practices or academic medicine.

The Emergency Radiology Fellowship Program aims to provide fellows with:

  • Excellent case-based and didactic conferences as educational tools in addition to day-to-day workstation teaching
  • Participation in multidisciplinary teams in order to develop relationships with referring clinicians and enhance impact on patient care
  • Communication skills for the 21st century, enabling graduates to deliver complex medical information to patients and providers with clarity, accuracy, timeliness, and compassion

Prerequisites:

  • UT Southwestern will consider applicants matriculated in an ACGME-accredited diagnostic radiology residency or an RCPSC-accredited or CFPC-accredited residency program in Canada.
  • International Medical Graduates (IMGs) who completed a radiology residency program are also welcomed to apply.
  • UT Southwestern only offers J-1 visas

How To Apply:

Fellowship application requirements include completion of the Department application form. Refer to the fellowship(s) of your choice for further requirements.

In addition, applicants must send:

  • Three letters of recommendation (one letter must be from current Program Director)
  • Original medical school transcript
