Emergency Medical Services Fellowship

The University of Washington EMS fellowship is designed to immerse the fellow in all aspects of ground and air EMS medicine.

EMS within Seattle and King County serves 2.2 million people. Through a variety of experiences on the front line of care and operations, our EMS fellows gain extensive experience with fire and third service-based EMS, coordination of air medical services, interagency communications, research and administration.

Prerequisites:

• Graduate of an ACGME approved residency
• Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine
• Must have a Washington Medical License and DEA before starting fellowship
• We are not able to provide Visa sponsorship for candidates

How To Apply:

• A cover letter explaining your interest in EMS and your previous experience.
• Curriculum Vitae
• Three letters of recommendation (one of which must be from your residency program director and another from your residency's EMS Director if you have one at your institution)
• Application Deadline: August 15, 2023. Applications received after August 15 will be reviewed if capacity remains for interviews.
• Please note, interviews will be in-person in the Fall of 2023 and take place on September 14th, September 21st, and September 28th.
