The Pediatric Anesthesia fellowship is a one-year, ACGME-accredited program designed to train the next generation of leaders in pediatric anesthesia.
The Johns Hopkins All Children’s pediatric anesthesia fellowship program offers an innovative, collaborative, personalized and learner-centric environment. Fellows will develop superior skills in delivering family-engaged patient care through a systems-based model, advocating for safety, quality and value-based care, and in advancing scientific research and investigation.
Fellows will learn in a high-volume surgical environment that includes exposure to complex congenital malformation treatment programs (such as congenital diaphragmatic hernia and esophageal atresia) that draw patients from around the nation because of their innovative techniques and success rates. Fellows will also participate in our acute and chronic pain management program that focuses on limiting the use of opiates.
Our simulation center will expose Johns Hopkins All Children’s pediatric anesthesiology fellows to state-of-the-art simulation experiences with the most advanced technology available for simulation-based learning.
