General Surgery Residency-Preliminary Position

The University of Florida General Surgery Residency Program is seeking one (1) PGY1 preliminary resident to begin work on July 31, 2023 (tentatively).

Prerequisites:

The applicant must successfully have graduated from an accredited medical school, preferably US-LCME accredited.

• medical school transcript,
• MSPE (Dean's letter),
• 2 letters of recommendation,
• ECFMG certification if an international medical graduate,
• personal statement.

Because of the short time horizon, we cannot provide Visa sponsorship.

Only complete applicants will be considered. Consolidation of all application materials in a single email is required, but letters of recommendation should be sent separately by the letter writers or coordinator. Candidates selected for an interview will be notified via email.
