General Surgery Residency-Preliminary Position

The General Surgery Residency Program at Geisinger Medical Center located in Danville, PA has an opening for a PGY-2 Preliminary position to begin on July 1, 2021.

Prerequisites:

Applicants are required to have successfully completed their PGY-1 Preliminary year in an ACGME accredited General Surgery program.

3. USMLE Scores 1, 2 & 3 (all Steps must be passed),
4. ABSITE score,
5. 3 letters of recommendation including one from the current Program Director,

7. ACGME Milestone Evaluations,
8. Current Defined Category Case Log Report,
9. list of completed rotations for all years of training & copy of ECFMG (if applicable).
