To apply to the Advanced Oncology Fellowship, you need to have successfully completed accredited training in internal medicine and oncology. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or foreign nationals who have or qualify for appropriate visa sponsorship and are eligible for a Minnesota medical license.

If you have not yet taken the United States Medical Licensing Examination Step 3 examination by the application date, you must declare your intent to pass it by January, six months prior to the start date, to be considered for the Advanced Oncology Fellowship. Adequate time for licensure by July is a requirement for starting the fellowship.
