Dermatology Melanoma Research Fellowship

Stanford Dermatology is offering a melanoma-focused research fellowship opportunity for a highly motivated individual interested in clinical research and helping to advance melanoma-related public health initiatives. This is a two-year position, though a one-year commitment may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Stanford Dermatology is a leading tertiary referral center for melanoma, and the fellow will be immersed in an innovative academic environment under the mentorship of Dr. Susan Swetter, Director of the Stanford Pigmented Lesion and Melanoma Program and Chair of the Melanoma Panel on the National Comprehensive Cancer Network.

Prerequisites:

  • The ideal candidate will be interested in an academic career in cutaneous oncology and dermatology
  • M.D. or D.O.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Prior experience with clinical research strongly preferred
