One year fellowship position in Bariatric Surgery and Minimally Invasive Surgery. Fellow acts as PGY 6 and will get opportunity to have experience in Sleeve Gastrectomy, Gastric Bypass and all kind of revisional surgeries. Fellow will also have extensive exposure in upper and lower endoscopy. Case load expected to include about 300 surgery cases and 250 endoscopies (not as a part of operative experience). Fellow will also do Robotic surgery (`25-50 in a year). Fellow will have complete exposure to the practice of bariatric surgery and is expected to independently do the procedures and run a practice. Fellowship is not accredited by Fellowship council.
Applicants has to be a graduate of American Surgical Program and be eligible for surgical boards. Candidates requiring any kind of VISA support may not apply.
