The Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at Columbia University offers a one-year fellowship in Renal Pathology. This is an attending-level appointment as an assistant attending pathologist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center and has graded sign-out privileges and responsibilities.
The fellowship provides intensive specialization in medical renal pathology with emphasis on interpretation and diagnosis of kidney biopsy specimens through the integration of presenting clinical and laboratory data with findings by light microscopy, immunofluorescence microscopy, and electron microscopy. The fellow is supervised and guided by 7 full-time attending pathologists in the Renal Pathology Division.

The candidate must have completed an approved AP or AP/CP pathology training program. A New York State medical license is required.
