General Surgery Residency-Categorical Position

The CMU College of Medicine's General Surgery residency program, Saginaw, Michigan, has an opening for a PGY-3 categorical position to begin on July 1st, 2022. We seek enthusiastic residents committed to completing training in our program and considering practicing in Northern Michigan after graduation.

Prerequisites:

Qualified applicants will have successfully completed two years of training in US ACGME-accredited general surgery residency and graduate the medical school no earlier than 2017.

Foreign Medical Graduates must have a valid ECFMG certificate and have passed STEP 3. We sponsor J-1 Visas only (no exceptions).

3. Current operative case log.
4. Three letters of recommendation, including one from the program director.
5. USMLE or ECFMG transcript.
