Behavioral Neurology Fellowship

Behavioral neurology is a specialty for neurologists who want to develop clinical and research skills in neurodegenerative diseases and neurobehavioral syndromes.

Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville offers a one-year Behavioral Neurology Fellowship, which can be extended for a second year.

The fellowship allows you to observe patients with various kinds of dementia, memory disorders, aphasia, apraxia and neglect. These patients may have degenerative diseases, infarctions, demyelinating disorders, and seizure disorders.

You will also receive instruction in interpretation of neuropsychological evaluations and may elect rotations in speech pathology, neuroimaging and psychiatry.
