Our residency program is housed in the Dartmouth Cancer Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The Dartmouth Cancer Center is 1 of 53 NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers, representing the top tier of cancer care in the United States. As part of the Dartmouth Cancer Center, the Section of Radiation Oncology provides tertiary/quaternary care, even while flourishing in a pristine, rural setting, striving for and achieving a balance between technology and the individual.
Here medical education prides itself on its “high tech, high touch” approach, emphasizing advanced science in the context of a humane, caring environment, one focused on the needs of the individual patient. Our residency program heartily endorses this philosophy, not only in its care of the cancer patient, but also in its education of future practitioners and leaders of the continuum of healing arts that constitute radiation oncology.
