General Surgery Residency

The General Surgery Residency Program at the University of North Dakota Has an opening for a PGY3 general surgery resident beginning July 1, 2022.

This is the first year of a newly created research fellowship in the department which will be filled by one of our current PGY2 residents leaving a vacant PGY3 position for the upcoming academic year. The residency program is a fully ACMGE accredited program. Residents will obtain broad based general surgical training in a number of fields including vascular, trauma, critical care, emergency general surgery, bariatric, colorectal, robotics, and surgical oncology.

Prerequisites:

Applicant must have completed a general surgery PGY1 and 2 year in the US by July 1, 2022 to qualify for this position.

  • Three Letters of Recommendation are required, one of which should be the most recent, or current program director.
