General Surgery Residency - Categorical Position

Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center General Surgery Residency Program is seeking to fill a PGY-4 categorical resident position. Orientation starts late June 2020.

Prerequisites:

To be eligible for this PGY-4 position, the applicant must be in good standing having completed a PGY 1, PGY 2 and PGY 3 position in an ACGME accredited General Surgery program. Training must have taken place in no more than two programs. Consideration will be give​n to trainees in research programs who have completed a PGY-3 year within the past 24 months.

• Letter of recommendation from your most recent Program Director, and 2 additional letters of recommendation from faculty surgeons
• ABSITE score reports from all years of training
• ACGME Defined Category Case Log Report
• List of completed rotations
• If completed, FLS and/or FES certification
• USLME Transcript (a first-time pass on all three exams is required)
• Medical school transcript and diploma
• ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
