Pediatrics Residency Position

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Medicine Pediatric Residency Program in Las Vegas, Nevada is a fully ACGME accredited three-year training program in Pediatrics. We are currently looking to fill a PGY-2 position to start July 1, 2020. The goal of our program is to train and educate residents to be competent and compassionate physicians.

Prerequisite:

Applications are being sought from degreed candidates who have satisfactory completion of 12 months of required experience in an ACGME accredited pediatric residency training program. Applicants must also show proof of current BLS and PALS certification and be a US medical school graduate.

• Current CV
• Two letters of recommendation (one letter must be from your current Program Director which verifies that you are a PGY1 in good standing and are expected to complete 12 months of training by June 30, 2020 and one additional letter from another faculty member within the current program)
• USMLE transcript for steps 1, 2, and 3 (COMLEX is also acceptable)
• A list of completed rotations including dates, milestone evaluations, and
• A cover letter explaining reason for leaving current program and interest in our program are required in order for your application to be complete.
