General Surgery Residency - Categorical Position

Cedars-Sinai General Surgery Residency Program is seeking a PGY-3 categorical general surgery resident to begin on June 24, 2021. This is to fill for a resident who is going out for research related activities.

This is a categorical position in our five-year general surgery residency. We encourage and expect preliminary residents in PGY-2 positions to apply; we will not interview/consider categorical residents from other programs without expressed permission of your current program director. The position is supported and funded by the Department of Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Salary and benefits will be shared with applicants as requested.

Prerequisites:

Applicants must have completed 2 years of ACGME accredited surgical residency training in good standing.

• Three (3) current letters of recommendation – one must be from your current Program Director.
• USMLE Step 1, 2 and 3 scores (first time pass only)
• ABSITE scores from PGY 1, 2
• ACGME Case log reports: Defined Category Minimums and PGY2 Minimums Report (250 minimum)
• Rotations you have completed
• Milestones
• ECFMG certificate of applicable
