The Department of Radiology at the Emory University School of Medicine is now accepting applications for a one-year fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging and intervention. This position has been created due to increasing volume and training opportunities in the division and will become a part of the match for the 2022-2023 application cycle. The position will be filled outside of the match for the 2021-2022 year.
The fellowship features training in diagnostic radiography, CT, MR, and ultrasound imaging interpretation of bone, joint, soft tissue, and spine pathology. We provide interpretation for all the professional teams in the city of Atlanta including the Falcons, Hawks and the Braves. We also interpret all MRI neurography studies across the system. Training will occur at multiple sites including the Emory Orthopaedic and Spine Center, the Atlanta Hawks Nest at Executive Park, Emory University Hospital Midtown, and Grady Memorial Hospital. We will soon transition to a new state-of-the-art Musculoskeletal Institute at Executive Park.
Candidates must complete a radiology residency program by June 30th 2021 and should be ABR board eligible. Candidates must also be able to obtain a full medical license for the state of Georgia.
Interested candidates should submit their CV, three letters of recommendation, a one-page personal statement and a passport type photograph to Ms. Marvis Zanders ([email protected]) by June 1st. Interviews will be granted on a rolling basis (beginning late April) and an offer will be given once a suitable applicant has been identified.
