Oncology/Skull Base Fellowship

The one-year fellowship in skull base (transcranial/endoscopic) oncology at Indiana University School of Medicine offers a well-rounded experience in managing complex brain tumors. The fellowship opportunity offers participation in operative management of aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations and therefore encompasses a broad range of complex cranial procedures.

The caseload includes approximately 350 operative cases each year—some with exposure to radiosurgical techniques using Novalis, Cyberknife and Gamma Knife.

Prerequisites:

Applicants for this neurosurgical fellowship must be residents or graduates of neurosurgical residency programs in the United States that are approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), or of neurosurgical residency programs in Canada that are approved by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
