General Surgery Residency - Preliminary Position

The Department of Surgery, at BronxCare Health System, Bronx, NY has an available PGY - 2 Preliminary Position. It is an ACGME approved position.

Prerequisites:

Interested candidates must have successfully completed a PGY 1 in General Surgery and in good standing in an approved ACGME accredited program.

• ERAS application
• Current CV
• USMLE transcript (first time pass on both exam)
• Three Letters of Recommendation, One from PD preferred
• Medical School Diploma
• Deans Letter
• School Transcript
• ECFMG Certificate, if IMG
• ABSITE scores and reports for ALL years completed
• A summative performance evaluation from previous and ALL programs
• ACGME Milestone reports
• ACGME Case Log
• Defined Category Report
