Independent Clinical Fellowship in Neurosurgical Oncology

Accredited by the Committee of Advanced Subspecialty Training (“CAST”), the Department of Neurosurgery at North Shore University Hospital offers a one-year fellowship under the direction of Michael Schulder, MD, Program Director.

The salient features of the Neurosurgical Oncology Fellowship Program include a high volume of operative and radiosurgical procedures for patients with brain and spine tumors, an energetic faculty devoted the care and operative management of these patients, a proven commitment to research and scholarly activity, excellent hospital resources, and an academic environment that includes medical students, residents, and a robust educational program.

Prerequisites:

Eligible applicants must have completed an ACGME-approved neurosurgical residency training program (or the Canadian/international equivalent).
