General Surgery Residency - Preliminary Position

The Department of Surgery at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center has a preliminary PGY2 ACGME approved position available with a start date of July 1, 2020.

Prerequisites:

Interested candidates must have successfully completed a PGY1 in General Surgery and in good standing in an approved ACGME accredited program by June 30, 2020.

Qualified candidates must submit the following:

• Current CV
• USMLE or Comlex transcript (first time pass on all exams)
• MSPE (Deans letter)
• School transcript
• ACGME Year end milestones
• ACGME case log defined category and minimum report
• Absite score(s)
• ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
• 3 Letters of recommendation one being from the previous Program Director
• Any unexpired certifications such as ACLS, BLS, ATLS
