Burn and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship Position

The Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine and Eskenazi Health offer a one year fellowship in Burn and Reconstructive Surgery.

The facilities include two independent burn centers. Riley Hospital for Children, Speedway Burn Center, an 8 bed dedicated pediatric unit and a new 15 bed adult burn unit at Eskenazi Hospital. With burn admission totaling over 500 annually between both units, the trainee will acquire in-depth experience in the management of acute burns and burn reconstruction as well as critical care management. The fellowship includes the opportunity to assist in plastic surgery aesthetic program by attending lectures and conferences. The trainee will also be given the opportunity to participate in clinical research with a chance to present at the ABA.

Prerequisite:

Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of general surgery training.
