Transplant Hepatology Fellowship

The Transplant Hepatology Fellowship Program at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago is an intensive one-year program of advanced clinical training. We accept one fellow per year from one of three applicant tracks:

  1. Training after completion of internal medicine residency (Non-ACGME accredited track)
  2. Combined Advanced/Transplant Hepatology training during gastroenterology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center (ACGME accredited track)
  3. “Fourth Year” Transplant Hepatology training after gastroenterology fellowship (ACGME Accredited track)

Since 1987, the Rush Liver Transplant Program has performed over 1,600 liver transplants and has a long track record of excellence. Fellows with the Transplant Hepatology Fellowship Program receive a broad range of inpatient and outpatient experiences, setting a solid foundation for an outstanding career in Transplant Hepatology.
