General Surgery Residency - Preliminary Position

Ascension Providence Hospital located in Southfield Michigan, is seeking to fill a PGY2 preliminary position.

Prerequisites:

The applicant must currently be a PGY1 resident in good standing in an ACGME accredited General Surgery residency program, and will successfully complete that training by June 30, 2020. We only sponsor J-1 visas.

2. Defined Category Operative Log Report (ACGME) Case Log System
3. USMLE Scores (step I & II); pass on first attempt is required
4. ABSITE score reports
5. 3 Letters of Recommendation (1 must be Program Director)
6. Summative or Milestone Evaluation from current program
7. Current ECFMG Certificate - if applicable
8. Copy of medical school transcript and MSPE
9. Personal statement
