Neuroendovascular (NES) surgery is a subspecialty that uses minimally invasive catheter-based technology, radiological imaging and human clinical expertise to diagnose and treat vascular diseases of the central nervous system and other disorders of the head, neck and spine and their vascular supply.

As our neuroendovascular surgery fellow, you’ll gain the unique training and skills needed to succeed in this challenging subspecialty.

Prerequisites:

In general, this Neuroendovascular Fellowship program is offered to graduates of American and international neurosurgical programs.

You must be eligible for a Pennsylvania State Medical Training License, which you need to secure before the fellowship starts. To obtain the license, candidates must have completed three years of residency training in the United States or Canada.

Foreign applicants must have passed the ECFMG or FMGEMS, as well as the FLEX exams. Any decisions about recognition of foreign training or equivalency of training will be made by the program leadership.
