Interventional Neuroradiology Fellowship

NYU Grossman School of Medicine offers a two-year, Committee on Advanced Subspecialty Training (CAST)–accredited fellowship in interventional neuroradiology in the Department of Radiology.

Fellows develop expertise in neurointerventional techniques to treat cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and ischemic stroke and vascular malformations and tumors of the head and neck, as well as to treat spinal tumors and vascular malformations. You also learn how to perform vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty and receive specialized training in diagnostic neuroangiographic procedures, including balloon test occlusion and selective and superselective Wada testing.

Prerequisites:

Physicians who are board-eligible or board-certified in radiology, neurology, and neurosurgery.
