Pediatric Cardiology Electrophysiology Fellowship

Pediatric Cardiology Electrophysiology Fellowship

The overall goal of the Pediatric Cardiology Electrophysiology Fellowship is to continue to be the premier pediatric electrophysiology training program in the world. Over thirty years ago the field of pediatric electrophysiology started at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital. The Pediatric Cardiology Electrophysiology area has since trained a large portion of the pediatric electrophysiologists currently in practice, and these pre-eminent physician scientists work and teach throughout the United States and the world.

The goal for training in pediatric cardiology electrophysiology is to give the fellow the best training possible in clinical pediatric electrophysiology and academic electrophysiology over a 12-18 month period. Upon completion of training, the fellow will be able to practice as an independent consultant in all areas of clinical pediatric cardiology electrophysiology and will also be oriented for a productive career in academic electrophysiology.
