Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship

The University of California, Irvine Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship program offers a 2-year ACGME-accredited training program devoted to the education of future leaders in Surgical Oncology. The Complex General Surgical Oncology fellowship is a comprehensive, integrated program with excellent training opportunities in peritoneal surface malignancies, sarcoma, melanoma, upper GI, HPB, and breast. Fellows will have extensive training in minimally invasive complex oncological resections and cytoreductions/HIPEC surgeries. Fellows have the flexibility to conduct translational, clinical or epidemiological research based on their research interests. Funding support to attend national conferences and training programs is provided. Our program is seeking a fellow to start August 1, 2022.

Prerequisites:

Incoming candidates will have completed an approved general surgery residency and are board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Surgery.
