Welcome to the Fellowship Training Program in the Neuropsychology of Epilepsy.

The Division of Epilepsy and Sleep Disorders at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is located at the Neurological Institute at 710 West 168th Street in New York, NY. We are a major referral center, with patients from southeastern New York, southwestern Connecticut, and northern New Jersey.

We additionally maintain an 8 bed adult Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (Milstein Pavilion) and a 10 bed pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital) with installed video EEG equipment, and registered EEG technologists with 24 hour coverage, specially trained nursing staff, and 1:1 monitoring for intracraniallyimplanted patients.

Prerequisites:

Applicant must have had both coursework and clinical training in neuropsychology and must be eligible for and possess a New York State Limited Permit. Preference is given to applicants who have completed internship with extensive neuropsychology experience. Interviews will be mandatory.
